Monday 4 June
1.30 pm - 7.30 pm
Parent Day gives parents the opportunity to talk to individual teachers about their child’s progress in specific subjects. Please let us know which time slot is best suitable for you.
Following parent feedback from previous Parent Days, we have written these steps to help you get the most out of your time slot:
- Before Parent Day speak to your child about their attainment – are there any subjects they are worried about
- When you get to the academy you will be given your child’s report, take a moment to read it and see what subjects your child needs to make the most progress in to meet their end of year targets i.e. the subjects highlighted in red or amber.
- Visit those subject teachers first
Kindly sign the reply slip you will have received in the post. Your child must hand in the slip to the Reception by Monday 21st May 2018.
There will also be two Cyber Safety sessions held in the theatre at 1.30pm and 4.30pm. The session will focus on how parents can support in keeping students safe whilst using the internet.
A copy of the letter can be found HERE.
The academy will be closed to all other students during this day.
